PAWS Malta teamed up with Marsaskala Local Council

PAWS Malta has teamed up with Marsaskala Local Council

PAWS Malta has teamed up with Marsaskala Local Council in their efforts to control the stray animal population.

Commencing in January 2015, together with the council, we will launch a systematic neutering campaign for stray cats in the Marsaskala area. This pilot project which the local council has undertaken will reduce and control the feral cat population in the locality, and this in turn will mean a better and healthier life for strays.

We at PAWS Malta are pleased to be involved in this groundbreaking initiative and hopefully other local councils will come on board and get involved in taking care of stray animals.

PAWS Malta (a registered NGO) was formed in 2009 and currently operates two busy charity shops. Our organisation is run on a completely voluntary basis and could not exist without our hard working volunteers.

We at PAWS Malta believe working together with the Marsaskala Local Council will help us in our aim, which is to ease the misery suffered by stray animals.
